Vintage Wiss Scissors Facile Screw-Bolt Inlaid W1225 Knife Edge Heavy Duty Upholstery Cutting Shears Steel Forged This is a dandy! It measures just over 10.5" from tip to handle. It is marked "Wiss Inlaid" Has the mark "Wiss USA" within a cloud. The second side has the old anvil mark with "Steel Forged 10 inch 1225" stamped on it. I cannot see any markings on the inside of the blades. The facile screw-bolt was produced between 1915-1940 and was later sold with a small wrench so that the user could tighten or loosen the cut as needed. It is an amazingly sharp scissors with no breaks or cracks. There is no evidence that the handle was painted indicting that it is an older model. Please look closely at the pictures for additional details. There is heavy patina and a few manufacturing imperfections in the metal. This is pre-owned, vintage item.
